Roof Cleaning &
Roof Moss Removal
Woodinville, WA

Our trained experts clean roofs and gutters in Woodinville efficiently by using top-of-the-line equipment and state-of-the-art fall protection when removing moss and cleaning your roof. We are always careful of landscaping and protect the integrity of your roof and gutters.

When addressing moss on your roof, our primary goal is to preserve the integrity of your roof by removing the clumpy moss and applying a moss control product to kill any remaining moss. We begin by agitating any large clumps of moss with a stiff brush. Then we blow all the loose debris off the roof with a commercial-grade backpack blower. We clear all the debris from the inside of the gutters and ensure that all the downspouts are clear. We then apply a moss control product to kill any remaining moss and do a thorough clean-up of the surrounding grounds.

Our technicians are trained and certified to apply moss control products. On most roofs, we use a granular, broad-spectrum, peroxide-based algaecide/fungicide called GreenClean Pro. On some roofs we use a liquid moss treatment called Spray & Forget, a biodegradable, non-corrosive, citrus-based cleaner that kills moss and algae. These are the best products we’ve found that are both environmentally responsible and very effective. Neither product contains bleach, lye, acid, phosphates or heavy metals.

We use a stiff brush on the larger clumps of moss and clear the roof of debris. On most roofs, we use a peroxide-based algaecide/fungicide to treat the moss on your roof. We do not use zinc sulfate which is known to harm fish. Call (425) 821-3814 for a free estimate for your home in Woodinville!

We blow the loose debris from the roof with commercial grade backpack blowers. We use a stiff brush to gently agitate the larger clumps of moss, and then use the blower again. Next, we clear all the debris from the gutters and downspouts, treat the roof, and do a thorough clean-up.

We treat roofs with an environmentally responsible product to kill any remaining moss. It takes about one month for the moss to change color and die. We guarantee that all the moss will die or we will come back and apply another treatment. This process is widely accepted by our customers.

No, we advise our clients against pressure washing roofs. Pressure washing often damages roofs and reduces the life of the roof because it washes off a layer of the roof. We have pressure washers and use them for cleaning concrete and rinsing decks. We don’t pressure wash roofs. Call (425) 821-3814 for a free estimate!

We will likely need access to your yard waste bin to dispose of the debris from your roof. If you won’t be home, please unlock your gates so we can get all around your home. If you have any pets, it’s best to keep them inside while we work. We may need access to water from your outdoor faucets in order to clean up afterwards, so please make sure the water is turned on. You may want to move your car away from the home, and it’s best to cover your outdoor furniture, particularly if you have fabric cushions.

We’ll call or text on the way to your home in Greater Seattle. You don’t need to be home for outside work, but we’ll knock on the door to greet you either way. We’ll let you know if we have questions for you or if your home could benefit from any additional services. When finished, we will come to the door to chat before we leave. We can answer any other questions you may have, let you know if we encountered anything unusual while we worked, and offer recommendations for a service schedule going forward.
